She felt betrayed.

When she glanced upon beautiful girl standing beside him, she felt like she was betrayed. She could see that he and that girl weren’t just friends. There was something between them, something that she thought she had with the boy long time ago. That L thing which girls were crazy about. And the worst thing was they weren’t hiding it. It had been months since the last time she looked at his face. When she finally got to see the boy again, the boy that she believed in, she had to see him with another girl, a girl that was far more beautiful than her. It pained her, it hurts so much. She felt like she wanted to cry, but of course because she is Reyna, the girl who would try her best to stand still when a storm hit her. She didn’t ran, instead she kept her head high, walked to him and said his name.

“Jason.”

She didn’t sound so emotionless. But no one knew better than herself that she was actually very emotional that time. No one knew how she wanted to replace the girl beside him with herself. She was supposed to be the girl who would always stand beside him. Not that girl. No one knew how she thought that she was a cruel person that time because…because she hoped that Jason didn’t remember her, didn’t remember his life before his memory got wiped out by Juno. Because if that was the case, she didn’t have to face the fact that he chose a girl who he had only known for several weeks over a girl who he had known for months, a girl whose trust had been achieved by him. She was Reyna, she didn’t believe anyone easily. She was Reyna, but she was also a girl. Like any other girls, she believed that she would finally have a wonderful life because of Jason, she believed that Jason would be her happy ending, the person who would make her finally cherished her life.

But maybe it was true, God didn’t have a happy ending designed for him.
